Queen Elsa Braided hairstyle tutorial! About time I put up something about Frozen, now that it’s over a year old and the highest grossing animated movie of all time. Lets state with Queen Elsa and her more casual look with long braided hair. We’ll get to the crown up-do in another post.
Tease the hair to create that cartoon volume.
Woah, check out that volumized hair! So Teasing done.
Separate the hair into 3 big sections. Start braiding near the back of the head.
French braid by adding chunky sections.
French Braid down to the nape of the neck.
Then just a regular braid down to the end of your hair. To add volume, pull the sides of the braid apart.. Seriously, cartoon characters have 500% more hair than any real human has.
Pull out a few little wispies in front. (“wispies” is a technical term right?)
Curl those wisps.
Wisp those pieces back and style them as you want.
