Everyone knows glitter is the herpes of craft supplies, it gets on everything and everyone, and never really goes away. Glitter is so insidious someone started a company to mail your enemies glitter. But hey, it’s a small price to pay to look fabulous. Some people are claiming this is just to cover up your laziness of not getting your roots touched up. But my roots are amazing at all times and I still want glitter everywhere.
With the extra stars and glitter I immediately thought of Venellope’s candy hair from the Wreck-It-Ralph movie.
This is 100% a DIY hairstyle.. or grab a friend to make it more fun. Obviously you’ll need some sparkles, glitter, or even body glitter would probably work great. Then grab some hair oil and/or a pretty strong hold gel and mix it up with the glitter and lightly brush it on to your roots. Super simple and easy. I’d recommend using fine grained little sparkles so you don’t get clumps.
Even celebrities like Miley Cyrus are getting into the glitter roots trend.
Oh, just in case you have a beard. You can glitter it too. Boom, glitter beards.
