The 25 year old Australian rapper, Iggy Azelia, has had some great hair over the last couple years. She’s apparently a fan of pink and blonde hair just as much as I am. And recently went full bright af pink! But tbh, I think I prefer her long flowing blonde hair as simple, elegant, and natural as possible. But hey, just my opinion. Oh yea, she’s done a few braided hairstyles. One of which people all over the internet have made bun of so much as a birds nest or challah bread roll, but it’s an interesting style. She should be commended for doing something different, and it looked great especially form the back with the braids going down the sides. In fact, all it needed was a crown and it would be a lot like the queens hairstyle Charlize Theron wears in the Huntsman Movies.
1. Bright Cotton Candy Pink Hair Color.
Clearly you want this. I mean it’s not for everyone but it should be. You’ll probably have to lighten your hair to at least an 8 to get to this fun color of pink dye.
2. Blonde Hair with Dip Dyed Pink Tips.
So you can’t go super bright pink all over because of something dumb like work? Fine, try this. Dip dying the tips of your hair for a little fun color without overpowering your whole look. This look would work with dark hair too, but again you would have to bleach out the area you want to color first. I prefer the top of these three pink end dip dyes because I think long hair is always sexier, but hey, just my opinion.
3. Faux-Undercut Side Braid.
This is a super cute and trendy style done by various celebs now. Cara Delevingne, Marie Avgeropoulos, and more faux undercut hairstyles. Iggy has personalized the style here by adding volume to the top and bringing her long hair into a simple pony tail at the back of her head instead of continuing the braid all the way to the ends of her hair.
4. Iggy Azalea’s Crown Braid Hairstyle.
The internet likes to make fun of this style, but I think it’s unique and beautiful especially given the situation of an elegant awards show. The back is particularly nice as her hair is braided all the way down to the base of her hair with ever smaller braids. It makes Iggy look like she’s wearing a golden crown of hair.
5. Long Braided Pigtails.
An old standby hairstyle, the braided pigtails. But in this case Iggy Azalea has started the braid from the top center of her head instead of the base of her hair. This will help all your hair stay in place much better when running around all day.
6. Long Blonde Hair
Long blonde hair, what’s the big deal right? Well it’s hard to keep your hair bleached blonde, super long, and still amazingly healthy looking. I’m a fan of the simple long blonde hair look. Specifically the second and third pics that are just cute and fun.
7. Iggy Azalea’s High Pony Tail With Long Side Swept Bangs.
You can’t really ask for a more elegant ponytail. In contrast with her gym look this ponytail is high up on the back of her head and held in place with a bit of hair to hide the hairband. And of course having a large amount of hair pulled forward for a wave of bangs with a bit of a curl really helps raise this style in elegance. This would be a nice style for a dinner party where you need to dress up but don’t want to over do it.
8. Workout Pony Tail Hairstyle.
You can’t always have a specific hairstyle. Sometimes you just need to get shit done or go to the gym. Iggy Azalea has her gym look down with a simple low pony tail pulled back toward the base of her hair and allowing a few strands of hair to go free to frame her face. Simple and effortless looking.
